Job Description:
Our company is looking for a Data Analyst to work with our company’s proprietary database & development of models. This role is expected to execute and deliver data & analytics projects with required accuracy under minimum supervision/guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Collect & clean data from various sources, ensuring accuracy & consistency.
- QA & troubleshoot data to ensure accuracy & integrity.
- Understand & document data transformations & lineage.
- Analyze data to discover insights/patterns or answer questions.
- Build predictive models using statistical or machine learning methods.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of models.
- Deploy and maintain the model throughout its life cycle.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions & provide analytical support.
- Present & communicate information effectively to teams; Convey complex results clearly to internal & external clients.
Qualifications:
- 0-4 years relevant experience; BSc/BA minimum in STEM field.
- Experience in Data Mining, Modeling, & Machine Learning.
- Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Python. Familiarity with Spark, AWS, GIT is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong math skills (Statistics/Algebra) & coding ability.
- Strong desire & ability to understand the logics in data transformations & lineage.
- Analytical mindset & problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, & meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail & strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
