Sr. Manager of Consumer Insights

will lead our data-driven efforts to uncover deep insights from our consumers and shoppers, how they approach our categories, what are their unmet needs and pain points, as well as what most resonates with them across their shopping journey. Based on data and research, the Sr. Manager of Consumer Insights will provide critical and actionable insights and recommendations to inform important decisions in product development, communication development as well as marketing and media plan execution. at Cuisinart, your primary responsibilities will include: Lead generation and analysis of Consumer & Shopper Insights to shape and inform decisions in the scope of new product development, consumer ideas, brand communication development, packaging, creative assets qualification as well as marketing and media mix optimization, leveraging either standard or ad hoc surveys, as well as social listening. Understand and formulate key business questions; answer them through fact-based analyses that deliver insights and actionable recommendations to drive business performance, from new product and communication development to marketing strategy, competitive research and more. Generate informed consumer insights; collect, aggregate, and synthetize main consumer and retail data from standard syndicated platforms, consumer household panels and ad hoc consumer research. Collaborate closely with Product Development, Marketing and Category Management on new product development insights, marketing and communication development, and new item introductions and tracking. Lead reporting of insights and key conclusions / recommended actions. Deliver compelling visual presentations to a range of stakeholders, including executive leaders, managers, and operational partners. Competencies/Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following competencies and meet the requirements: Strong analytical skills, with solid technical knowledge of main consumer research methodologies and vendors, both quantitative as well as qualitative. Solid technical knowledge of syndicated data platforms. Ability to craft actionable and compelling insights and stories from large sets of data. Demonstrated expertise in business analysis, with a track record of delivering data-driven insights and recommendations. Experience working with product development and marketing teams to define tailored learning and validation plans for new products and new creative assets. Strong strategic thinking. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively convey complex data and insights to internal and external partners. Have demonstrated use of analytical skills – both using tools (ex. Excel, Business Objects, etc.) and problem solving/critical thinking skills. Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of Consumer, Shopper Insights, Shopper Behavior Experience required. Experience working in consumer product goods preferred. Experience working with both qualitative (e.g., Focus Groups, Social Listening) and quantitative consumer research methodologies (e.g., Brand Health Tracker, Consumer / Shopper Behavior Data, Household Panel data). Experience working with a syndicated service (Circana/NPD, Nielsen) Willingness to travel as needed to fulfill job responsibilities. Environmental Factors:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed). We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 50% of time.
