We are in search of a Credit Analyst to join our team in PHOENIX, Arizona. The Credit Analyst will play a critical role in the financial health of our organization, focusing particularly on credit risk. They will be responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit, as well as managing and reviewing customer credit files.

Responsibilities:
• Analyzing credit data and financial statements to assess the degree of risk associated with extending credit to potential and existing customers
• Regularly running reports to determine the level of risk involved in extending credit
• Using financial ratios and computer programs to evaluate the financial status of customers
• Consulting with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions
• Reviewing customer files to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection
• Applying understanding of UCC rules and regulations as it relates to interstate commerce
• Monitoring accounts receivable aging on a daily basis and interacting with branch personnel as needed
• Working closely with sales teams to communicate credit decisions and ensure timely review of new customers
• Resolving credit issues with customers and negotiating documentation and payment terms to ensure transactions are properly secured
• Establishing and maintaining credit services to be used by branches and corporate office.

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Credit/Collections

• High School graduate or GED required, Bachelors Degree preferred

• Strong knowledge of UCC rules and regulations

• Knowledge of Cash Flow Analysis, Bad Debt Recovery records

• Familiarity with pre-lein/lein filings, bond claims, stop notices, lein releases
