Top Skills:

1. Experience with supporting end customers and providing professional and/or customer support. This person should have a background dealing with the end customer and resolving issues with them. Linux support is preferred

2. GDPR - This person will need to know and have a general understanding of GDPR is. What is does, how it is used, etc. Also have an interest in moving their career to IT compliance and/or data privacy regulations.

Job Description: 

A Global Leader in the delivery and mentoring of Open Source solutions and innovations. They provide their RHEL platform to most fortune 500 customers globally as well as provide backend support and consulting services 

The IT organization is in need of a Support Analyst. The selected candidate will work with Program Managers, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and Legal staff to ensure ongoing compliance with data privacy programs including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and Brazilian General Data Protection law (LGPD). We are in need of a self-motivated individual to join the team to help with program administration and execution. 

Primary responsibilities include: 

Initial intake, triage and analysis of personal data subject access requests 
Assignment of tasks to other departments for processing 
Management of data subject response process 
Progress and status tracking to ensure compliance with SLAs and timelines 
Maintaining metrics to report on overall health and status of data privacy compliance program 
Collaborating with privacy program stakeholders across Legal, IT, Customer Experience and Engagement to set internal policies and resolve data privacy issues 
Identifying program trends and opportunities for efficiencies and enhancements 
Promoting data privacy best practices and increasing awareness of them throughout the organization 
Ensuring data privacy documentation and process flows are created and maintained 

Job Requirements: 

Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA and other data privacy laws and regulations 
Experience in a support role such as a helpdesk of service desk technician 
Experience working with Service Management solutions such as ServiceNow 
Experience documenting process flows using tools such as Visio or Lucidchart 
Experience translating business needs to requirements and implementation plans 
Ability to utilize data to create reports and dashboards for consumption by leaders and executives 
Strong background with Productivity tools including Microsoft Office and Google Suite (particularly spreadsheet software) 
Strong written, analytical and communication skills 
Open source technology experience a plus 
Would prefer 3 years experience, but open to recent college graduates
