Payroll Analyst

Tier4 Group has an urgent and immediate need for a Payroll Analyst to support one of our banking/financial services clients. This role is critical for ensuring accurate and efficient payroll operations, analyzing payroll data, and troubleshooting payroll administration issues. The ideal candidate will bring strong payroll expertise, experience with multi-state processing, and proficiency in payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Triage and resolve payroll administration issues, including errors in payroll processing, taxes, and benefits.
• Process and audit multi-state payrolls in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain payroll reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on changes to payroll regulations and ensure compliance.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in payroll analysis, payroll tax, benefits, or accounting.
• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, concepts, practices, and procedures.
• ADP and Workday experience is required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
