Job Summary:
The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for supporting supply chain processes, analyzing data, and ensuring the efficient flow of products from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Optimization & Process Improvement
- Conduct data analysis and research to optimize supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously review and improve supply chain processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
Inventory & Demand Management
- Develop and maintain inventory management systems to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
- Utilize analytical tools to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
- Monitor and track key supply chain metrics, including inventory levels, lead times, and transportation costs.
Compliance & Auditing
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with supply chain policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company safety and compliance standards.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Identify and resolve supply chain issues, proactively communicating updates to stakeholders.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate supply chain performance and recommend improvements.
- Assist in the development of supply chain budgets and forecasts.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance overall company performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5+ years in logistics or transportation, with experience in scheduling, delivery coordination, and warehouse inventory management.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis.
- Proficiency in tracking, tracing, and monitoring shipments.
- Familiarity with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) operations.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability and self-motivation.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with data analytics tools and techniques.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
