Financial Analyst Job at Brilliant Financial Staffing - IL in Lockport

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for a Financial Analyst with our client located in Lockport, IL. Our client is a well established landscaping organization who is experiencing growth. They currently are looking to bring on a skilled Financial Analyst on a permanent basis to add to their department. This Financial Analyst’s primary responsibilities will be budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial reporting. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply immediately!

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial information to determine past and present financial trends and performance
• Review monthly financial data for accuracy and identify any issues that need to be corrected
• Assist with creating quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
• Responsible for creating and/or maintaining advanced Excel models
• Work with business operators on an as needed basis to review financial performance and business drivers
• Assist with monthly management discussion and analysis write-up
• Assist with monthly financial reporting packages and PowerPoint presentation materials
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Financial Analyst Qualifications:

• Excel: Must be comfortable creating and maneuvering through V-lookups and Pivot Tables
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Power BI, preferred but not required
• 2+ years of financial analyst experience
