Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst. Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), along with proficiency in NetSuite. The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities, including supporting Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions, while also leveraging Power BI to deliver insightful financial analysis. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced finance team and directly support the CFO with various financial operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
Essential Duties & Specific Responsibilities
- M&A Support: Assist in the financial analysis, due diligence, and modeling for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Integration Support and post-acquisition financial analysis.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, and forecasting for senior management. Use Power BI to create visual dashboards and reports for key financial metrics and KPIs.
- NetSuite Management: Maintain and support the financial system, NetSuite, ensuring accurate and timely financial data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
- A/P & A/R Support: Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes as needed, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and resolution of any discrepancies.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare budgets and forecasts. Provide variance analysis and recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and contribute to continuous improvement within the finance department.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support strategic decision-making across various departments.
Qualifications & Required Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably with M&A exposure and corporate finance experience.
- Proficiency in NetSuite and strong knowledge of financial systems and reporting.
- Experience with Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools to create financial reports and dashboards preferred.
- Knowledge of A/P and A/R processes is a plus, with a willingness to support these functions when needed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and present actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance teams.
- Positive, adaptable attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
