What you'll do

  • Coordinates and processes company-wide payroll while adhering to the applicable local, state, and federal employment laws
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for HCM data, system configuration, business process configuration and reporting
  • Analyze compensation- related data including salary ranges
  • Updates salary ranges for salaried and hourly position for accurate compensation ratio analyst
  • Responsible for data analysis accuracy and completeness for global manpower reporting
  • Manages the employee and manager self-service features
  • Processes status changes and updates ADP system
  • Works with ADP representative to understand analytics within ADP system
  • Maintains employee benefit files and other record keeping
  • Configured ADP cloud document and management
  • Provides support to plant HR personnel on benefit/payroll functions
  • Processes open enrollment benefit plan transfers. Provides support to online benefit administration for plant employees
  • Maintains vendor contact to investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations
  • Assists in the reporting and analysis of employee utilization of current benefits and develops specific recommendations for review by management
  • Tracks leave of absence approvals and rejections through third party
  • Works with ADP representative to respond to notifications from state agency regarding unemployment claims filed by former employees
  • Works with ADP representative to issue annual individual summary of benefits to employees
  • Serves as an administrator for Certify. Works with accounting to reconcile payroll expenses
  • Trains plant HR and Managers on new ADP features and changes
  • Works with ADP representative to troubleshoot clock issues dealing time and attendance
  • Responsible for cobra administration and maintenance

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (Human Resources) with at least 4 years of experience in positions related to HRIS, payroll, IT, HCM configuration, benefit administration etc.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience using payroll software and processing payroll is required
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is required – a minimum 3 years of configuration and payroll processing experience. A combination of similar system experience may be substituted. Must be skilled in workflow and approval path configurations
  • Strong computer and database skills
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of corporate policies and compliance
  • Demonstrated prior success in achieving results using team driven philosophies
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supporting corporate interest to remote site locations and ability to communicate and exercise very positive people skills
  • Precise attention to detail and accuracy
