Matrix International, Inc. is seeking mission oriented, experienced candidates for the position of Targeting Analyst in Northern Virginia. The position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance and Polygraph. The position requires an extensive knowledge of the Intelligence Community (IC) and its objectives, and preference will be given to candidates with experience managing or supporting Human Intelligence (HUMINT) operations or conducting all-source intelligence analysis. Candidates will be expected to work effectively in team environments as well as independently with minimal supervision and will professionally and effectively interact with client personnel at all levels.

Essential Functions:

Targeting Analyst is to review operational traffic and all source intelligence databases in order to develop intelligence leads and drive operations. Targeting Analysts read and process intelligence reports including HUMINT, SIGINT, and other technical data, research existing cases and assessments, drafts comprehensive targeting and collection plans, briefs senior level managers, and provides operational guidance as needed.

Successful Targeting Analysts will be able to work directly with customers and team members to research, evaluate, analyze, fuse, and interpret reporting from multiple sources to produce finished intelligence products. Successful Targeting Analysts will also be proficient in a variety of analytical methodologies in support or predominantly technical issues to include network analysis, link/relationship discovery and analysis, temporal analysis, and other quantitative methods. Targeting Analysts should be comfortable briefing senior level managers quickly and thoroughly, in some cases with little to no lead time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience supporting HUMINT operations or a related field
  • Experience in intelligence research and analysis
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, high attention to detail, and sound operational judgement
  • Strong organizational, writing, and briefing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance and Polygraph

Preferred Requirements:

  • Client certification as a Specialized Skills Officer (SSO)
  • Experience using client-specific databases to monitor traffic and communicate with overseas offices
  • Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing including in high threat areas
  • Foreign language skills
