Technology & Operations is the backbone for both the client lifecycle and the investment lifecycle. The group’s Follow the Sun Model ensures that the firm’s operations are consistent and efficient across all investment products, client channels and regions, helping to deliver a superior client experience and drive scalability.
As an Executive Protection Specialist, you will:
Provide executive protection to key BlackRock executives in NY and while on business travel.
Support the Global Events Team and Corporate Security Team with executive event planning.
Lead all aspects of trip planning, execution and logistics as well as coordination with numerous internal and external teams.
Provide security to BlackRock executives in their home location and through extensive global travel.
Coordinate with the Corporate Security team for site security and investigations.
Support executive activities related to Corporate Events, ensuring appropriate security coverage.
Maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and security providers.
Possess excellent judgment, strong communications skills, and partner effectively with stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities will include:
Support the Corporate Security and Events team at corporate events.
Provide executive protection services including trip planning and event coverage.
Oversee security in executive office space.
Lead executive protection vendors and maintain strong ties with law enforcement officials.
Provide security support for meetings and events.
React and advise on regional security developments.
Promote security awareness within the organization.
What You'll Need:
Extensive security experience with senior executives.
Experience planning and executing trips and events, handling emergencies.
Previous law enforcement, military, or executive protection experience.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
A minimum of 10 years in public safety, law enforcement, or security field.
Certification or ability to obtain certification as an Armed Security Officer.
Experience working for C-Suite executives.
Must be available during evenings and weekends for emergencies.
Strong law enforcement network in New York City.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including healthcare and retirement plans.
Our hybrid work model
Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
