OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our nonprofit organization towards achieving its mission and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nonprofit management, preferably in youth sports, with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. This role requires an individual who is adept at managing teams, negotiating partnerships, and driving process improvements while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.General Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership and Planning:

Develop and implement long-term strategic plan to guide the organization’s growth and impact.Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with the Board and Treasurer.Monitor financial performance and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.Oversee banking, accounting, and financial reporting, including timely deposits, bill payments, and reconciliation.Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures and manage all aspects of financial stability.Identify opportunities for growth and expansion.Evaluate the club's performance and make necessary adjustments.Secure funding and grants to support the club's programs and initiatives.

Board Relations:

Provide timely and accurate information to the Board of Directors to facilitate effective governance.Communicate key accomplishments, challenges, and updates regularly to energize and involve the Board.

Staff Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations, including program development, facility management, staff management, and organizational administration.Recruit, train, and support coaching staff and other personnel.Develop and implement staff orientation programs, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.Foster a positive work environment with open communication and recognition of staff contributions.Maintain all organizational records, insurance policies, and legal documentation.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Community Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and other stakeholders.Promote the club within the community and increase participation.Advocate for the club's interests and the importance of youth sports.

Organizational Priorities:SCSA Goal 1: Player Registration

Increase player registrations through effective marketing and outreach strategies.Oversee program development and ensure quality and innovation in youth soccer programs.Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to meet the needs of players and families.

SCSA Goal 2: Enhance Program Revenue

Develop and implement strategies to increase program revenue.Organize and oversee grant-writing efforts.Manage fundraising events and campaigns, and ensure timely acknowledgment of contributions.Oversee the creation and execution of fundraising materials.

SCSA Goal 3: Expand Donor Base

Cultivate relationships with existing and potential donors.Enhance SCSA’s visibility and reputation within the community through targeted marketing and outreach efforts.Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and local businesses.Manage the organization’s website and social media platforms to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in nonprofit management, preferably within youth sports or related fields.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive organizational growth.Experience in fundraising, marketing, and donor relations.Strong understanding of youth sports and the soccer industry.Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders including staff, volunteers, and community partners.Compensation:
