Job Description
Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Functional Analyst to support the United States Army, Futures Integration Directorate (FID), Futures Concept Center (FCC) at Fort Eustis, VA. Qualified candidates must be a US Citizen with a TOP SECRET clearance.
The Functional Analyst will provide capability assessment support of Information Operations Capability Development and Integration to Mission Command, CEMA, and Intelligence Division (MC2ID). The Functional Analyst will provide analytic support focused on identifying DOTMLPF-P requirements and assessing functionality, solution alternatives, cost-benefits, operational benefits, and risk.
The Functional Requirements Analyst will:
- Facilitate Army decisions for Information Operations Capability Development and Integration and interface with a variety of organizations.
- Collaborate in the accomplishment of assessment support tasks across the Information Operations assessment support area’s community of practice (COP).
- Participate in meetings, VTCs, forums, and conferences to include Integrated Capabilities Development Teams (ICDT), Integrated Process Teams (IPT), Tiger Teams, Steering Committees, Working Groups (WGs), Capability Boards, Councils of Colonels (CoC), Army Requirements and Resourcing Boards (AR2Bs), Army Requirement Oversight Councils (AROCs), Army Capabilities Reviews, Army-Marine Corps Boards, Joint Requirements Oversight Processes, Milestone Decision Reviews, and other academic or industry forums and conferences.
- Coordinate WG tasks with external agencies by staffing and resolving requests for information, resolving schedule conflicts, and planning future meetings and meeting agendas, upon approval of the MCID Government representative.
- Produce meeting minutes, executive summaries (EXSUM), presentation briefs, and prepare responses to decision taskings.
- Review documents for Information Operations Command Capability Development and Integration.
- Provide comments to the MC2ID Government representative for approval and appropriate action not later than (NLT) two working days prior to external suspense.
- Submit comments by comment resolution matrix or by entering changes in a draft document using tracked changes.
- Consider the DOTMLPF-P implications and feedback.
Required Experience
- US Citizen with an active DOD TOP SECRET clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of ten years of defense-related experience
- Demonstrated advance research and critical thinking skills
- Extensive writing skills and experience articulating complex issues and topics in writing
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written form using the Army writing style, in accordance with AR 25-50
- Previous completion of the Capabilities Development Course, highly preferred
