About the Role
The Company is seeking a Lead Data Analyst and Portfolio Manager for Financial Products at the VP level. The successful candidate will be a key player in the transformative journey of the Enterprise Data Products Portfolio Management team, with a focus on supporting the data strategy and engaging with partners for data, AI, and BI services. This dual-hatted role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in both data analysis and portfolio management, particularly in the banking and financial services sector. The role is highly visible and impactful, demanding a professional who can effectively bridge IT and business teams, manage senior stakeholder relationships, and lead a small team of business analysts and scrum masters. Responsibilities include stakeholder management, centralized demand management, prioritization, agile work management, managing dependencies, risk management, and reporting. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years of technology industry experience, with at least 5 years in systems analysis, data analysis, data management, data analytics, and portfolio management. A strong business acumen in core banking and capital markets products is essential, as is expertise in business requirements analysis, design, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a senior product management role, be familiar with agile methodology, and have experience in data analysis, data warehousing, and data governance. Technical skills should include proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools, and experience with relational databases. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and an MBA or advanced degree is a plus. The role demands a professional with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, who can present effectively to senior management and is adept at building consensus across business areas.
