The Analyst in this new role will help TTGI provide cost analysis support to a critical aviation customer.  The candidate will provide program leadership with expertise related to predicting, understanding, analyzing, and presenting cost data associated with the sustainment of a variety of programs.  The preferred candidate will bring a strong understanding of the fundamentals as well as a passion for helping non-analysts understand the logic used to provide the analysis/recommendations.  Candidate will need to enjoy working closely with a blended team working in a fast paced, high-profile environment in direct support of the warfighter.  

Tasking for this position will include:

  • Develop, update, interpret and maintain Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Program Office Estimates (POEs), and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs)
  • Provide expertise to various stakeholders and leadership in a variety of tasks including Cost Review Boards, evaluating contractor cost performance reports and EVM data, and defending cost analysis & recommendations to leadership 
  • Support development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) briefings to include program funding and cost requirements

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
  • Position requires candidate to have strong analytical experience, specifically in developing cost or pricing volumes for government contracts
  • Preferred candidate will have experience in one or more of the following: Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Business Case Analysis, and Economic Analyses
  • Experience preparing (and delivering) detailed written reports and/or briefings suitable for presentation to senior level military and program leadership is expected in this role
  • Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of or ability to quickly grasp concepts related to performing cost analyses and estimates (e.g., learning curves, Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs), data collection and adjustment, normalization, overhead rate analysis, production rate analysis, fixed and variable costs, and treatment of inflation)
  • Knowledge of materiel acquisition and life cycle management policies and procedures contained in applicable documents (e.g. DoDD 5000.1, DoDI 5000.2, DoDI 5000.73, AR 70-1) is a plus
  • Experience using ACEIT (Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools) is a plus
