WHAT YOU'LL DO:
VENU+ (together with ScooterBug, Inc., and BEST Lockers, LLC) is the preeminent global provider of guest mobility, storage, and entertainment solutions across high traffic destinations. VENU+ has seen significant growth across the Northern region.
The Financial Analyst will be part of a team providing key financial support and recommendations to a growth-oriented business. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with strong technical skills that can support development of meaningful analysis, can communicate analysis results to leadership, and will drive process efficiencies. Key responsibilities include preparing weekly, monthly, and ad hoc financial, sales, and operating reports. Analyzing financial and operational trends, measuring sales, customer performance, and preparing financial models. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares financial budgets and forecasts.
Develops, analyzes, and communicates operating performance metrics.
Creates financial models to aid management in decision-making.
Reports on financial performance and prepares for regular leadership reviews.
Analyzes past results, performs variance analysis, identifies trends, and makes recommendations for improvements.
Works closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
Identifies and drives process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
Increases productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
1+ years of business, finance, or other relevant experience
Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Accounting or Finance
Strong analytical and data gathering skills
High proficiency with financial modeling and techniques
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
Well-developed computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to streamline functions with a passion to learn and grow
