How you'll make an impact
We are looking for a
Director, Financial Operations
to join our Gallagher Bassett team! Leadership/Managerial:
Strong, proven leader with ability to grow and develop team Ability to drive ownership, urgency, accuracy, timeliness and a process improvement mindset across the team Strong managerial skills Ideally, manager of team for 5+ years Ideally, manager of managers (i.e., managed people who are managers of people)
Process Improvement Skills:
Strong, proven process improvement skills Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills Excel Skills:
Ability to work with large data sets Ability to utilize functions/formulas and other Excel mechanisms to build new and understand existing processes
Communication Skills:
Ability to interact with clients, producers, account managers, external vendors (i.e., banks, payment processors) and senior leadership throughout Gallagher Bassett Ability to interact with teams across Finance to ensure adherence to timeliness and quality standards Ability to interact with our Service Center team to ensure adherence to timeliness and quality standards Strong written communication skills Proven presentation skills
Experience:
Insurance or TPA (Third Party Administrator) background Understanding of banking processes
About You
Required: Bachelor's degree and 10 years related experience required. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Preferred: Master's degree and public accounting experience or CPA preferred. Insurance Industry experience or experience working with a TPA. #LI-TL1
