Job Description

This role is targeted for a dynamic, highly energetic, and passionate individual responsible for leading the training, and development across support teams. You should be comfortable executing a strategy that is both agile and durable, ensuring best-in-class practices are implemented consistently to ensure quality knowledge transfer and results to build the future state of training and quality for the organization. We are looking for a learning leader with a creative mindset towards modern learning approaches, a keen understanding of design methodology, developing, and delivering new training programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities: Align and develop resources to deliver on the company and business strategies Design and implement learning and development programs, consistent with best practice and innovative approaches, to address new hire onboarding, new role transitions, and proficiency building Consult with business owners, SMEs, team members, budgets, vendors, and technologies to diagnose performance issues and design solutions to address performance gaps Develop blended and scalable training solutions, evaluating both face-to-face, virtual, and digital solutions, for delivery to a large audience throughout the globe, making learning an unforgettable experience Report and remediate training KPIs including impact on business results, training throughput, and training impact. Maintain online learning management system including the development and maintenance of courses, reporting, and administration Implement process improvements, create training for system enhancements and changes, and ensure compliance with corporate training requirements. Develop assessments that measure learner outcomes including productivity Manage and develop the members of the Learning and Development team Evaluate budget proposals and financial requests for viability. Forecast financial needs throughout the year. Track results and compare them to key financial targets Lead innovative, best-in-class learning solutions that drive the forward strategy to produce a culture of learning that excites and engages on-site & virtual team members Perform other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or related field Minimum 10 years of professional experience in leading a training function, preferably in a contact center environment Ability to apply sound learning principles, agile methods, learning technology, and program management skills together in the design, development, and maintenance of learning programs Program administration and coordination, including classroom facilitation experience, with instructional design skills and experience with adult learning principles across multiple cultures and learner profiles Experience working with learning support technology including Articulate, virtual classroom technology, micro-learning, etc. Demonstrated business acumen Strong project management and organization skills Systems thinking; able to recognize patterns and trends in data, content, and customer needs which will drive program design and delivery Influencing and relationship building inside the business; builds a network of experts and resources to support programs Creative problem solver; naturally curious and can quickly research issues Can successfully deal with a fast-paced environment with competing priorities across multiple stakeholders and vendor partners Strategic thinker who gets things done Effective communicator and influencer with outstanding writing, editing, and verbal communication skills Excellent presentation skills and leadership skills, and significant experience working with stakeholders to influence to gain buy-in and advocacy Skills for success Leadership: can communicate expectation and drive accountability for team members Strategic Thinker: envisions future needs and opportunities and set long-term goals for growth Collaboration: the ability to establish and maintain effective and working relationships with peers, team members, and other customers Problem Solver:

The base compensation range for this role is $125,000 to $160,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. The selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan.
