Supply Chain Analyst
A client of ours is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst for a contract role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with supply chain analysis, and a strong background in using Epic software. This role involves analyzing supply chain processes, identifying inefficiencies, and developing solutions to improve operations and reduce costs.
Responsibilities of Supply Chain Analyst
- Analyze and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize Epic software to manage and streamline supply chain processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and clinical departments, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance.
- Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes and recommend improvements.
- Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and systems.
- Provide training and support to staff on supply chain best practices and the use of Epic software.
Skills/Qualifications of Supply Chain Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain analysis within the healthcare/hospital industry.
- Proficiency in Epic software is a must.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with other supply chain management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices in the healthcare industry.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
