Role: Business Analyst Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week) Position type: 6 months with high possibility of extension/Conversion as FTE Job description: The Business Sr. Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, and ensure inclusion of key stakeholders. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy Responsibilities: The position requires a candidate with general management skills, leadership abilities and administrative experience, who can manage and lead a variety of activities. This includes building ties with other business teams. • The Business Sr. Lead Analyst will ensure that data is summarized from across the business to provide critical information to executive team. • Partner directly with various players across decision management groups, analyze data and evaluate multiple sources to develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives, including the annual strategic plan. • Formulate and shepherd cross-franchise initiatives and programs from conception to completion. • Establish best practices and principles for the decision management organization globally Financial control - In conjunction with the team - understands the complexities of the department Profit and Loss (P&L); appropriate accruals, client allocations in order to improve operational efficiency and productivity. • Program/Project Management - Help provide oversight of the Business Critical Milestone Reporting process and various other executive / client / management reporting processes. Ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy throughout the reporting. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Client, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: 5 – 8 years prior work experience in area related to analytics and/or strategy consulting.
