What You'll Do
Understanding of AdTech and Digital Marketing Project Planning & Management: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of technical projects, including defining project scope, objectives, resources, timelines, and deliverables. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, monitoring project progress to ensure adherence to established milestones and deadlines. Identify project risks and issues, proactively developing mitigation strategies and solutions to keep projects on track. Facilitate project status meetings, stand-ups, and retrospectives, providing clear updates to stakeholders at all levels. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, dependencies, and ensure alignment. Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights and recommendations. Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed, ensuring third-party deliverables align with Macy’s quality and timeline standards. Technical Leadership:
Provide guidance on technical feasibility, potential challenges, and best practices to ensure that projects are technically sound and scalable. Oversee Agile processes and ensure teams are following Scrum methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies. Drive the adoption of Macy’s technology stack, ensuring that project teams are aligned with enterprise standards and best practices. Continuous Improvement & Reporting:
Track and analyze key project metrics to assess project health and identify areas for improvement, optimizing processes for future projects. Create and present regular project reports, performance metrics, and post-project evaluations to leadership and stakeholders. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance productivity, efficiency, and team dynamics. What You Know
8+ years of experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of managing complex, large-scale projects, particularly in digital or e-commerce environments. Understanding of web development technologies, including JavaScript, React, Java,
Node.js , and .NET Core. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is a plus. Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Trello. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field Compensation Band
$60-$65/hr on C2C
