Wisk’s internship experience is a 12 week, hands-on program. Our goal for our internship program is to see what it’s like to be a full time Wisk employee and complete meaningful work.
We are looking for a Systems Test Intern to join our Systems Test team and support the design, assembly, and commissioning of test assets used for development and verification testing of Wisk’s Gen 6 battery, propulsion and avionics systems.
Responsibilities:
Support the mechanical and electrical design, procurement, manufacturing and assembly of test fixtures and harnesses Integrate flight hardware and commission test fixtures Collaborate with test engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and automate test assets Get familiar with the architecture of our test assets, aircraft subsystems, and team processes Requirements:
Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters or PhD degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027 Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or a relevant engineering degree) Experience turning conceptual designs into physical parts/assemblies Experience with creating parts, assemblies, and engineering drawings with CAD software such as NX (preferred) or Solidworks Extensive hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and/or machine shop tools Hourly rate will be $25 USD an hour. This internship role will be based at Wisk's office in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided. Eligibility Requirements For US Must be able to work on-site in Mountain View, CA You must be legally authorized to work in the US for the duration of Internship.
