The Merchant Integrations team plays a pivotal role in empowering merchants to provide diverse payment options to their customers at checkout. Our focus is on crafting products that cater to the specific needs of both merchants and their developers, striving to deliver the most efficient and user-friendly integration solutions possible. As a Senior Product Manager, you'll drive significant change across multiple fronts. You'll collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams to shape and deliver world-class experiences for our customers worldwide. A key aspect of your role will be championing an API-first development approach within Braintree, fostering innovation and efficiency. Your Day to Day:
In this role you will: Strategize & Define best ways for merchants to enable integration via APIs and SDKs for new products. Coordinate across multiple PMs within the Merchant Integration organization. Prioritize and maintain a balance between ongoing maintenance/bugs, new feature requests, and the need to keep integrations simple & flexible. Conduct competitive analysis to inform areas of improvement. Provide the right level of support and direction to keep the engineering team aligned with the overall product strategy. What You Need to Bring
5+ years of product management or other relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Experienced in designing and building REST or GraphQL APIs, SDKs, webhooks, server products, and services. Expert at identifying merchant and user needs through discovery processes. Partners well with engineering and cross-functional teams. Expert in developing a vision, strategy, and roadmap for APIs and Server SDK based products. Experience writing PRDs, managing backlogs, and prioritizing features vs tech debt. Additional Job Information: Subsidiary:
