As a Principal PMT for Data and Analytics, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of data and analytics products with significant impact. You will own and define the lifecycle of a suite of data and analytics products, including defining product strategy, feature design, technology approach, and roadmap priorities. You will influence the strategic direction for both business and technology across the engineering organization. Your work will span tactical execution to strategic vision and planning. You will own and define the 3-5 year data strategic vision, long-term roadmap, and drive teams to execute on that vision. You will drive alignment across stakeholders, make trade-off decisions, and serve as a mentor to the PMT community.

Within CCTech, you will be a critical part of the team, owning and managing data and analytics products that revolutionize how we market to our customers. You will thrive in highly ambiguous situations, working backwards from customer pain points to develop scalable data and analytics solutions that impact them. Utilizing deep technical understanding, you will assess technology impacts, recognize complex designs, evaluate emerging technologies like Gen-AI, and ensure data and analytics solutions meet scalability and innovation needs. You will define product value propositions and drive strategic product communications across the organization, engaging with executives and stakeholders. Additionally, you will participate, share knowledge, collaborate, attend, and present at internal conferences.

Key Job Responsibilities: Translate complex and ambiguous business problems into crisp data product strategies and roadmaps Lead definition data products vision, own the 3-5-year strategic direction and long-term roadmap for a suite of products Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy and framework for building a customer-centric martech stack. Translate the technology roadmap into a marketing architecture (Marchitecture) that is easy to digest and understand. Conduct a detailed audit of current martech tools and usage, identifying redundancies and opportunities for improvement. Stay up to date on the latest advancements and shifts in marketing technology and customer behaviors to ensure our martech stack meets evolving customer needs. Collaborate with AWS Marketing engineers, product and program managers, as well as Customer Experience and other Marketing Technology teams. Connect the dots across multiple internal teams on strategic decisions or new martech solutions, to ensure cohesive martech strategies, communication, and alignment where needed. Partner with data science and engineering teams and relevant stakeholders to incorporate the latest personalization, LLM, and GenAI capabilities or enhancements into our martech systems to improve CX, velocity, automation, and ease of marketing tasks. Partner with engineering leadership to establish a maturity model and deprecation framework for outdated or duplicative martech tools. Lead data gathering and analysis efforts to measure customer impact and effectiveness of new Martech tools. Drive the continuous monitoring and optimization of the martech stack, ensuring it remains flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. Collaborate with the CCTech team to improve agility and speed in bringing new technologies to market. Serve as the primary liaison between marketing leadership and technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for marketing stakeholders. Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
