Job Overview
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting an Innovation Manager (Design) to join our newly established Innovation team! In this role you will work as part of a dynamic team responsible for the delivery of new products and services from idea through Minimum Valuable Product. Responsibilities
Iteratively define potential concepts for products, services and businesses using prototyping techniques from the lowest fidelity (e.g., hand drawn sketches or diagrams) to medium (e.g., storyboards, journey maps, wireframes, video) to the highest fidelity (e.g., working minimally valuable products and services). Participate in the collaborative definition of the vision for new products, services or businesses. Uncover clues that point to latent, unarticulated needs and gather expressed needs; frame both into opportunities. Continuously iterate solution concepts using all manner of methods, from hand-drawn sketches to journey maps, wireframes and early stage digital products and interfaces. Engage as appropriate with internal stakeholders to understand both existing customer needs and BBH challenges. Provide input and support to improve BBH’s design function – including tools, methods, and design system. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of professional experience in financial services, technology, product management or related fields. Experience and understanding of digital product and service design and development. Proven track record in designing intuitive product concepts. Proficiency with CX, UX and UI design. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills. Proficiency with one or more design-driven, SaaS collaboration platforms, e.g., Miro, Mural, Figma, Canva. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Benefits
A collaborative environment that enables you to step outside your role to add value wherever you can. Direct access to clients, information and experts across all business areas around the world. Opportunities to grow your expertise, take on new challenges, and reinvent yourself—without leaving the firm. A culture of inclusion that values each employee’s unique perspective. High-quality benefits program emphasizing good health, financial security, and peace of mind. Rewarding work with the flexibility to enjoy personal and family experiences at every career stage. Volunteer opportunities to give back to your community and help transform the lives of others. Salary Range
BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000, which is specific to New York, NY and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations.
