Framingham - Massachusetts - United States of America, Remote - USAbout the role:The purpose of this position is to implement and lead HSE (Environmental Health and Safety) programs relative to a national/international corporate account supporting North America. This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities. This role can be filled in the United States, and will require up to 25% travel.What you’ll do:Develop, implement, and lead HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and HSE safety and environmental needs of client account(s).Evaluate new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes.Direct and coordinate activities of personnel staff engaged in HSE programs.Coordinate HSE plans, playbooks, and procedures for an account, market area, or geographical region of responsibility.Monitor health and safety and environmental regulatory compliance within the account, market area, or geographical/contractual area of responsibility.Develop and implement strategic solutions to support management's efforts to improve compliance.Review and lead all aspects of work processes and conditions to ensure HSE protective measures are optimized.Manage and coordinate interactions with government agencies, professional Health, Safety and Environmental groups, community advisory panels, corporate HSE officers, and all internal safety activities.Provide direct and timely counsel to management for the account, market area, or geographical region in matters pertaining to HSE, compliance, trends, performance, and concerns.What you’ll need:Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.Direct work experience interacting with regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers is required.Working knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety, and environmental regulations is required.Experience working in the Life Sciences or Healthcare industry is a plus.Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments' results.In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.Why CBRE?CBRE prides itself on its RISE values of Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence! The minimum salary for the Regional HSE Director role is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary is $150,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
