Full job description

Buenos Aires Bakery and Cafe has been brining fresh and authentic Argentinian baked goods to the south Florida community since 1972.

Currently we are looking for a motivated Driver with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior over-the-counter serving experience to provide excellent and timely service to our customers.

Responsibility:

• Completes an efficient delivery and picks up the route for the day.
• Responsible for loading delivery vehicles with parcels scheduled for delivery.
• Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
• Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Assists in general warehouse duties when the delivery route is completed.
• Can carry 50 pounds or more regularly.
• Must be able to speak, read and write Spanish, English is a plus.
• A positive attitude and ability to work under pressure with other staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
• Always maintains a professional image that fall within the uniform policy.
• This position's hours of work and days vary based on business needs and include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to drive safely.
• Able to always remain courteous and professional.

Job Type: Full-time

Location:  Main areas of service include but are not limited to: Miami Beach, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
