Description:
Responsible for ensuring materials are properly received, stored and loaded for production. Ensuring that the yard area is properly maintained and organized and assisting “walk up” customers with loading materials as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/FUNCTIONS • Prepares equipment for plant start-up each morning. • Operates forklift to move, place and load masonry products. • Performs general housekeeping tasks in and around the plant building and yard as needed including tasks such as sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, cutting grass, etc… • Maintains the overall orderly organization of equipment and supplies in and around the yard and plant. • Maintains cleanliness and appearance of plant grounds. • Other duties as directed by the plant manager Schedule: M-F: 6a-5p AND working every other Saturday $17/hr.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE • Valid/current driver’s license. • Experience with general or routine maintenance tasks. • Ability to safely operate a forklift. • Demonstrated ability to follow instruction and work independently or briefly in a team setting. • Demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Ability to read, write and distinguish colors. • Ability to read a ruler knowledgably. • Ability to perform simple math (addition, subtraction, multiply, divide) EQUIPMENT USED • Forklift • Various hand and power tools. • Water hose. • Push broom. PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Occasional bending, stooping and kneeling. • Frequent periods of extended sitting. • Occasional need to stretch, reach and grab. • Occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs. • Physical demands typical of driving postures – feet, hands, neck. • Occasional periods of walking across uneven surfaces
