Job Description
We are hiring for a Stand-Up “High-Lift” Forklift Materials Handler. A Forklift Material Handler moves and stores various non-hazardous materials within a warehouse. Their main duties include loading and unloading products.
Responsibilities- Operate a standup reverse steering forklift safely.
- Use RF guns and handheld devices to systematically move products throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately cycle count and keep accurate records of movements.
- Keep the production tables stocked with products to complete the work orders and replenish when needed.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Work in a high-paced/high-volume production environment.
- Meet the needs of the production tables and respond accordingly, i.e., transfers.
- Alert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problem.
- Document or report damages to supervisors or leads.
- Help clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift.
- Identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet identification numbers.
- Apply basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Work in low temperatures as well as high temperatures, depending on the season.
- Lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Experience with stand-up forklift, inventory, material handling, RF scanner, cycle counting, pulling orders, loading and unloading trucks.
- General labor skills, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Ability to hand-pull orders on the first two levels of shelving.
You will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and energetic environment. The facility is clean and organized, welcoming, and able to train non-English or bilingual speakers. You will never be asked to work weekends, and Fridays are often optional workdays.
Shift: Monday - Friday 6a - 3p
Pay: $17.50/hr.
