Forklift Operator Job at FlexForce in Baton Rouge

We are seeking for a qualified Forklift Operator to join one of clients team in the Baton Rouge area. 

Responsibilities:

• Following safety regulations and company guidelines, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods
• Using radio communications to determine priorities, and being alert of other employees in the work zone
• Moving products onto and off of trailers
• Responsible to move materials and equipment around the facility 

Qualifications:

• You should have experience working with heavy machinery and be able to handle heavy equipment.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Prior experience as a forklift operator.
• Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships.
• Efficient individual with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail.
