San Diego Botanic Garden (SDBG), a top-ranked 37-acre garden in Southern California, is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Horticulture to lead our horticulture team and elevate our gardens and collections to world-class standards. The ideal candidate will oversee inspiring displays, significant plant collections, and sustainable landscapes while managing gardens, natural areas, conservatories, water features, and more. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll drive strategic planning, guide exciting projects, and collaborate across departments to enhance guest experiences and engage the community. Requirements:
5+ years managing horticulture teams, expertise in sustainable practices, and experience with construction management. A bachelor’s or master’s in horticulture or equivalent is preferred. Join SDBG and be part of shaping one of the most important public gardens in the US! Deadline:
