Link Staffing is hiring: Forklift Operator in Cypress

Position Type:

This is a full-time position in a warehouse setting.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Pulls and packs product based on daily orders.
• Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
• Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Operates various pieces of equipment (i.e. Bendi, Palletizer, Dolly Loader, Pallet Wrapper, Forklift, and Electrical Pallet Jacks).
• Reports any mechanical problems.
• Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must have stand-up and sit-down forklift experience

Qualifications:

• One year in a warehouse environment
• Familiar with warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures is required
• Meeting safety, security, accuracy, and productivity standards of the facility
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be eighteen years of age or older
• Excellent communication skills
• Good math, reading, and communication skills
• Requires squatting, kneeling, bending, and some overhead lifting.
• Able to be flexible with a team attitude

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

The Forklift Operator role operates in a warehouse setting. This role frequently lifts up to 50 pounds

and occasionally up to 75 pounds as a team lift, adjusts body positions, including bending, reaching,

stooping, standing, walking, turning, pivoting, and standing for long periods. The noise level is

moderate to high. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, peripheral, and depth

perception.
