Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator Job at Formosa Foods in Dallas

Formosa Foods is a rapidly expanding foodservice distributor servicing Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. As a family-owned business established in 1979, we deliver a full line of products to our diverse customer base, including restaurants, markets, and wholesalers. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team in various roles based on experience, including Stacker, Shipping & Receiving, Dry Goods, Cooler, and Freezer positions.

Depending on your role, your key responsibilities may include:

• Preparing the work area, including cleaning, gathering pallets, and handling pallet jack.
• Undertaking shipping, receiving, stacking, lifting, wrapping, and cleaning duties.
• Managing dry goods inventory and working in cooler and freezer environments.
• Promoting and ensuring a safe work environment, reporting any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Carrying out other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

• Experience with pallet jack and forklift, with certification being a plus.
• Flexibility regarding shift times and working on weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 29-30 degrees.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also maintaining effective team collaboration.
• Eligibility to meet hiring requirements, including a background investigation and drug screening.
