Pipe Scraper / Forklift Operator (Sit Down) - Weekly Pay Job at Gojob in Louisvi

Gojob is hiring a Pipefitter Scrapper/Forklift Operator for a global piping provider located in Louisville, KY. You will be responsible for using power tools and a sit down forklift (propane, straight mask Toyota) to cut up pipe, to condense down into scrap, to relocate to scrap location.

Shift & Pay:

• 1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm - $18/hr

Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of sit down forklift for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, condensing, scaping pipe
• Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and will also be required to perform manual job duties the 90% of the time
• Use power tools (chainsaw, sawzall, banding tool, etc.) to cut, condense, scrap, and seal scraped pipe

Qualifications:

• At least 3 months forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to get Isco forklift certified
• Must be self-motivated
• Must practice safety at all times
