Job Description

Apply today for our 2nd shift, Stand-up Forklift Operator position located in New Holland, PA! Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialty foods and looking for dynamic forklift drivers to join their growing team.

The hours for the position are Monday - Friday, 2 pm - 10:30 pm, with overtime and weekends as required.

Pay is $21.50/ hour with an added $2.50 differential for 2nd shift.

Essential Duties of our Forklift Operator

Picks product and records appropriate information on pick ticket in a refrigerated warehouse.
Places finished goods into proper rack locations or blast cells.
Completes orders and identifies properly. Records product by label, lot code and slotting location on product transfer sheets.
Stages completed orders. Stacks product onto pallets using proper pallet patterns.
Loads orders on trailers. Rotates stock and keeps accurate inventory. Unloads all finished goods transferring into warehouse from trailers.
Picks and transfers product to and from racking for project room.
Inventories and consolidates product as needed.
Maintains clean work area and equipment.
Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.

Skills & Requirements

High school diploma or GED
1 year of relevant job experience
Stand-up forklift experience (and willingness to hold certification) required
Ability to continuously lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Ability to continuously work in a refrigerated environment (32-38 degrees)
