Our client has immediate openings for experiencedSit Down Forklift Operator conveniently located in Romeoville, IL. The Sit-Down Forklift Operator performs all duties associated with the receiving, storage, tracking and shipping of inventory.

Our current opening is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity, and the shift hoursare on the 1st [7:00 am - 4:30 pm], with schedules that offer improved work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• • Provide exceptional service and communication to the sales and customer service representatives.
  • Receive incoming material and process related paperwork.
  • Ship material to customers and outside processing suppliers and process related paperwork.
  • Store inventory in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Pull inventory on a FIFO schedule.
  • Perform physical inventory.
• • Keep the warehouses clean and orderly.

Experience Required for Your Success

• 3 years of hands-on sit-down forklift experience.
• Have experience processing production and logistic paperwork and using operating software.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a proven good attendance track record.
• Must have shown employment longevity at past employers.
• Steel toe shoes are required for this position.
