Our Team We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in developing cutting-edge interconnect solutions for the industrial market. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record of successful project management, and the potential to lead a broader organization. What You Will Do Lead and manage a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of interconnect solutions for industrial applications. Drive evolution of product development/function, creating customer value in line with requirements, and fulfill cost, timing and reliability goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and successful product launches. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, performance, and reliability. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of projects on time and within budget. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our products remain competitive and meet customer needs. Identify and coach to areas of opportunity to promote growth, mentorship, development and success. Be an advocate and driver for our PBM culture. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering. At least 3 years in a leadership role. Expertise of interconnect solutions. Proven knowledge of regulatory standards and processes (NEC, UL/CSA, IEC). Knowledge of analysis tools such as FEA, CFD, Optical Design. Knowledge of AQP methods. Capable of establishing credibility, mutual respect, and authority within the functional groups. Proven experience in project management, with a track record of delivering successful projects. What Will Put You Ahead Circular connectors and heavy-duty connectors is a plus. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. High potential to lead a broader organization and drive strategic initiatives.
