We are seeking experienced Alarm Technicians to complete service and installations on various different alarm panels and camera systems in the South Florida area. This job will be based in a residential setting mainly focusing on homes, apartments, condominiums and HOA communities as well as some small business customers. We are seeking candidates that want to take advantage of a lucrative opportunity to grow their skill set in the security industry and work with the most advanced security systems in the world. Technician needs to have previous experience doing home security installation or troubleshooting of the systems. The desired candidate will have previous experience with installing and servicing security monitoring systems in commercial settings.. Some of these responsibilities include CCTV, surveillance cameras, access control systems, card readers, and wireless keypads. Desired candidate should have experience programming security systems such as Brivo, CCTV, IP Cameras, and Fire alarm systems.

This candidate must be comfortable driving there own vehicle as they will not be provided a service vehicle. This technician can expect at least 40 hours per week working Tuesday-Saturday.

This person needs to have a mechanical aptitude and an adaptive personality. Technician must maintain 98% and better with inventory. Inventory is collecting once a week from the office and the technician is responsible for the inventory for the entire week. Inventory checks are quarterly. Technician can be dispatched from home or office based on GANT system.
 

Nice to have: FASA BASA Certification and NICET certifications.

 

Work will consist of installing wireless and wired alarm systems and devices including door contacts, window contacts, motion sensors, key fobs, door locks, cameras, and automation systems. Responsibilities also include providing quality customer service and education of the systems, as well as up-sell products as necessary.

 

Requirements:

1) 1+ years of experience service/install/repair/maintenance on alarm systems.

2) Experience in working in residential homes and providing quality customer service.
