Description

The company is one of the fastest growing commercial integrators in the U.S. They do design, engineering, installation, and service of electronic systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.

We work with them in Orlando, Jacksonville, and South Florida. They are seen as a higher end integrator and charge their customers premiums. They also tend to score better types of jobs. Examples include Advent Health and the Orlando Magic practice facility.

In Charlotte they are looking to add 4 install technicians to the team. These techs will be installing the actual hardware on a daily basis. They have an in house programmer so they wouldn\'t necessarily pay more for someone who has the skill. Our techs will be working on different jobsites each day. They will meet their lead at the office each day and ride together in a company vehicle. Jobsites include office buildings and schools but could also be industrial. They will likely be working on different teams and reporting to a different lead each day depending on the project they are assigned to.

Attire: Company shirt will be provided but the candidate must provide work pants (no jeans), boots, hard hat, hi vis vest, and safety glasses. Basic hand tools are required and include a screwdriver set, pliers, snips, and a punchdown tool.

Hours

• Vary depending on the project but are generally 7 am -5pm.
• OT is common.
• Monday-Friday schedule.

Top Skills Details

1. Experience mounting, wiring, and installing IP cameras and access control systems. Experience in the following is a Plus but not required:

• Access Control- Lenel/S2, Genetec, Software House, Open Path, ProWatch
• IP Cameras- Axis, Exacq, Milestone, MaxPro, Genetec, Victor, Avigilon, Hanwha

1. Experience working in commercial environments (Hospitals, Schools, Warehouses, Businesses)
2. Able to work self-sufficiently - get handed a piece of work and do the install (must read and interpret blueprints).
