Position Summary: The Vice President of Retail Operations oversees all aspects of Guitar Center Retail Operations across our stores maximizing the customer experience. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing resources, and implementing strategies that enhance profitability and growth. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: Develop and implement retail operations strategies aligned with company goals for both long-term and short-term success. Lead the Retail Operations team to maintain consistent performance and standards across all stores. Manage store openings, relocations, closures, and renovations to support expansion or optimization. Collaborate with supply chain, distribution, and logistics for efficient inventory replenishment. Oversee inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce shrinkage, and improve turnover. Cultivate a positive, results-oriented culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure stores deliver exceptional customer service and consistently meet customer expectations. Analyze customer feedback and develop strategies to enhance the customer experience. Implement training programs to equip store associates with product knowledge, sales, and service skills. Drive accountability across the fleet based on store performance data, reporting insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Additional duties as assigned. To join our band, you'll need the following experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, a related field (MBA preferred); or a combination of relevant experience and education. 10+ years of experience in retail operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Director or VP). Proven track record of successfully managing multi-store retail operations and driving revenue growth. Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, and driving profitability. Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing and developing large teams. In-depth knowledge of retail operations, customer service best practices, and retail technologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments. Experience in implementing successful operational strategies and process improvements. Pay Rate:

$200,000 - $250,000 annually depending on background and experience. This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.
