Job Description
TEKsystems is currently in need of an experienced technicians with prior burglar alarm installation experience to join their Mobile office.
This technician will be responsible for completing burglar alarm installations in residential and small business settings. This includes interacting with customers and providing education and product demonstration after the installation is complete. The technician is also responsible for keeping inventory and paperwork organized on a weekly basis and would be required to go into the office once a week to turn in paperwork and pick up parts.
Base skills required:
-Prior burglar alarm installation experience
- cat-5, cat-6 cabling experience
- ability to interface with clients on a daily basis
-any networking experience with hardware
-Certification required: AESBL

1-2 years of experience doing residential installations (fishing wire through walls and running cables CAT5/Coaxial/CAT6 throughout a house for aesthetics) and also demonstrating a good electrical technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills (ability to identify technical issues associated with electronic products, i.e. previous experience troubleshooting cable modems, set-top boxes, or electrical outlets).
3.Good customer service and interfacing skills (ability to interact with others in a pleasant manner to make the customer feel comfortable and having a "customer is always right mentality).
