Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Security Systems Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with access control systems, CCTV, IP/network cameras, security/fire alarms, and intercom systems. Location: Andover, MA (Service Technicians work within a 1-hour radius from the office) Employment Type: Full-Time/Permanent Salary: $62,400 - $83,200 Key Responsibilities: Install, program, maintain, and replace various security systems, including access control, CCTV, alarms, and intercom systems. Configure and maintain hardware, software, and networked systems to ensure seamless operation. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system functionality, hardware, and software. Perform regular system backups and implement security measures to protect data integrity. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization. Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure systems meet customer needs and expectations. Provide end-user training and technical support to ensure efficient system use. Minimum Skills and Qualifications: Education & Experience: High School diploma/GED required; 2-5 years of field service or installation experience preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Systems Technician or Electrical License is required. Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with intrusion alarms, IP/CCTV systems, access control, networking, computer skills, and software installations. Preferred Experience: Certifications or familiarity with systems like American Dynamics, Genetec, Milestone, Lenel, Software House, S2, SQL databases, IP networking, and Windows software configuration. Strong communication skills and the ability to build long-term, positive relationships with clients. Career-oriented, hardworking, and professional demeanor.
