Apex Systems is seeking a qualified Data Security Architect for an exciting hybrid role in Cleveland, OH. Please apply directly to this posting if interested.

Responsibilities:

• Provide security architecture consulting for monthly governance and projects.
• Support design decisions for security solutions.
• Lead assessments of potential security tools.
• Review business processes to identify security risks and solutions.
• Maintain reference architectures and assist in developing security service roadmaps
• Collaborate with various teams (Data Security, IT, Compliance, etc.).
• Align security data architecture with enterprise data strategy.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field of study
• 12+ years in Information Security or IT.
• 8+ years in designing and implementing security systems.
• Experience in Manufacturing or Consumer Products industry.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to business audiences.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with security architecture frameworks (e.g., SABSA).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CRISC).
• Experience with technology control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27000).
• Experience in securing cloud platforms and data security projects.

Work Schedule:

• Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote in Cleveland,OH.
