The Amentum Security Representative administers the project specific security program ensuring compliance with applicable contract security requirements. Maintains compliance with client, Naval Reactors, and DOE cyber and physical security policies,
The Security representative conducts work primarily onsite in the Idaho Falls area (INL sites) while conducting site visits to Oak Ridge, TN, Tullahoma, TN, and Denver, CO ensuring security at these sites is compliant.
Coordinates with and maintain close working relationships with client security counterparts.
Oversees Contractually required Security Plans for all sites to include Site Security Plans (SSP).
Functions as the lead for client and internal security audits.
Develops and administers the Security, Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) Program, ensuring all project personal are trained. Maintains all security related training records.
Coordinate with the client to initiate new security clearance requests. Function as the Site Managers agent for security control of subcontractors and reporting of incidents of security concern, investigates reports of security violations and prepares incident reports and coordinates with respective.
Works directly with Amentum IT and Cybersecurity personnel to ensure project has required assets and complies with security requirements.
Responsible for the inventories of IT assets. Reports new assets to the client and ensures destruction of obsolete items.

The base salary range for this position is $106,900 to $180,550. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, For remote positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Final DOD Secret or DOE L clearance or ability to obtain.
Previous FSO/ISSO/Security management experience.
Experience with Document Reviews for accuracy of markings.
Knowledge of DOE Security, Naval Reactors Security, NNPI, NN-801, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) policies.
Experience in the implementation of NIST 800-171.
Documented experience in IT trouble shooting including software, networks, and hardware. Knowledge of IT licensing.
Experience in planning for IT equipment lifecycle planning.
Documented experience in plan writing and implementation.
Experience working with internal and external stakeholders/customers.
Requires ability to communicate effectively and professionally with subordinates, peers, and senior management.
Ability to travel 25%-50%.
USA Citizenship is required
**Preferred:**
CompTIA Security FSO/Security Certification (CDSE, SFPC, or equivalent)
Previous Derivative Classifier for DOE/NR projects.
Direct work with NR/NRF.
Bachelors degree in IT, Cybersecurity, InfoSec, or related field preferred. Experience in lieu of degree is possible.
Essential Functions:
Work will generally be performed in an office environment with occasional travel to construction site offices. Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. Must be alert to equipment in the field, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
