DIRECT HIRE ONLY
FULL TIME (40 Hours)
HOURS - Monday - Friday 12:00am - 8:00am
Guards company property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Monitors access to property and controls incoming and outgoing traffic. Performs patrols of the property. Examines doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure. Monitors security cameras. Watches for and reports conditions that could result in injury or loss due to fire hazards, leaking pipes, spills, faulty equipment, etc. Preserves order and enforces security regulations. Checks incoming and outgoing trucks. Ensures applicable trucks are sealed. Notify management if there are truck security issues. Loss Prevention duties/Asset control duties. Announces all visitors and deliveries to appropriate employees onsite. Works with Quality Assurance to ensure security features enforce SQF codes. Keeps guard post clean according to list provided by housekeeping. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
1. Good communication skills
2. Basic computer skills.
3. Ability to read and write at a high school graduate level
4. Ability to exercise sound judgment
5. Able to remain calm under pressure and keep personal emotions in check during emergency situations.
Education and Experience:
* Minimum of high school diploma or GED required
* One (1) year previous security experience preferred.
* Military experience is considered job-related experience.
