- Controls access to North End Teleservices facility through the admittance process.
- Write or review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives.
- Train other organization members in security rules and procedures.
- Plan security for special and high-risk events.
- Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies.
- Attend meetings, professional seminars, or conferences to keep abreast of changes in directives or new technologies impacting security operations.
- Assist in emergency, crisis, and disaster management and contingency planning.
- Arrange for or perform executive protection activities.
- Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures.
- Prepare reports or make presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches.
- Monitor security policies, programs, or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.
- Conduct, support, or assist in governmental reviews, internal corporate evaluations, or assessments of the overall effectiveness of the facility's security processes.
- Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.
- Plan, direct, or coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property.
- Light day porter services including but not limited to checking the bathrooms, breakrooms and restocking supplies as needed, cleaning security office and administrative entrance windows.
- Preparing large batches of mail for distribution.
- Distributing mail to various carriers.
- Operating copy machine and other office equipment.
- Keeping work areas clean and neat.
- Making occasional deliveries.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Thorough knowledge of security procedures and techniques
- Experienced in executing duties for unarmed security services
- Familiarity with law enforcement policies and building access control system
- Skilled in preparing detailed reports on incidences
- The ability to manage your own workload.
- The ability to adapt to changing situations.
- The ability to solve problems.
- The ability to communicate well
- Ability to work on his/her feet for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Strong coaching ability.
- Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills sufficient to communicate and interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Good organization skills with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent command of the English language, good use of grammar skills.
- High school diploma
- General education diploma, some college desirable
