Position: Security Administrator
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance/Special Access Required.
Work Location: Arlington, VA
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday onsite (Regular Full-time)
Work authorization: United States (Required)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Security Administrator to provide comprehensive security support onsite in Arlington, Virgnia. This role involves managing various security operations, from administrative tasks to specialized international program support. The Security Administrator Specialist will play a key role in upholding security standards across both domestic and international locations.
Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain and update security documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding processes and manage security databases.
- Support incident containment, response, and clean-up.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to international partners on security protocols.
- Perform risk assessments and manage Program Protection Plans (PPP).
- Manage secure facilities and oversee visitor control processes.
- Monitor facilities to ensure secure operations during visits.
- Manage visitor certifications, badge tracking, and escort services.
- Facilitate Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security protocols.
- Assist in the development of OPSEC programs.
- Ensure compliance with security procedures and facilitate international collaborative events.
- Develop security awareness materials and conduct training sessions for client, including new hires and international partners.
- Conduct incident inquiries, track trends, and provide status reports.
- Support security operations and facilitate meetings.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
- Security Clearance: Current Top Secret Clearance/Special Access Required.
- Location: Must be able to work onsite in Arlington, VA
Position Qualifications
- Previous experience in security operations, particularly with administrative support, incident management, and international coordination.
- 10 years of experience in a related field.
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree (an additional 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for a Master’s degree).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and develop security awareness materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with OPSEC, Program Protection Plans, and SAP/SCI protocols.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
- Excellent briefing and technical writing skills
- Impeccable customer service skills
- Read, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
- Expert experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools and systems including Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Complete a security screening interview.
- The employee must maintain clearance and eligibility throughout employment.
