Security Guard Job at Georgia Recovery Campus in Reynolds

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients and employees. Your primary duties will include monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling assigned areas, responding to security incidents or property emergencies. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems and to ensure the safety of the premises
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter criminal activity, provide security measures according to policies and procedures.
- Respond to fire alarms and to investigate suspicious activity
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients when needed, assist staff and assist with any visitors as needed.
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed

Requirements:
- Valid CPR or will be provided.
- Strong conflict management skills
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance systems and techniques
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
