Security Guard Job at Houdini Inc. in Buena Park

Please note: this is a seasonal position. All candidates must pass drug screening and background check. Uniform will be provided. Guard card required. (Only exception is if candidate previously had a card or has an expired card with the agreement that they will renew guard card. Bilingual required (Spanish). 2 years of experience minimum. Experience in warehouse/gate operation a plus.

Schedule:

1st shift: 5:30am-3:00pm (Buena Park Only)

We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Duties:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Secure We are looking for professional security guards to protect our premises, assets and personnel for our Fullerton location. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Responsibilities:

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and activities
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates (patrol traffic)
• Check truck drives in and out
• Be available in case manager on site requests assistance

Requirements

• Guard Card not required
• Drug Screen & Criminal
• Background Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation Integrity and professionalism
• High school degree
• Bilingual (Spanish)
