IT Program Management Role Description:
The
Business Professional-Program Manager
must have 8+ years of experience. The main function of a Program Manager is to function as a key member of the program management team to develop world-class project execution across multiple projects and project managers in an IT setting. Credit Risk Transformation background would be ideal. (Loss Sharing, Pre-Review, Fraud, Risk Appetite, Lender Capital/Rights & Remedies, Loan Surveillance, Credit Facilities, Valuation). Responsibilities: Utilizes project resources to affect new process, project and product adoption. Ensures the effective day-to-day operations of the project management organization. Establishes metrics, measures project and process effectiveness, and improves required processes. Drives consensus among strongly opinioned SME teams. Ensures that business capability requirements are effectively addressed post-implementation of large-scale implementations. Ensures effective collaboration amongst members of the project team. Changes the thinking of, or gains acceptance from, others in sensitive situations. Develops people management and team-building skills. Demonstrates flexibility/adaptability in exercising judgment in a changing environment and manages competing priorities. Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization. Required Experience and Skills: Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to various products and business functions. Must have excellent skills in Outlook, MS Office Suites, SharePoint, and Excel. Bachelor’s degree in business or other related discipline. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. PMP or PMI certification. 8-10 years of experience within IT program management. Education:
